Art Chicago 2005

Art Chicago 2005

Thomas Blackman Associates has announced that it will stage next year’s Art Chicago in a 125,000 square foot temporary exhibition facility at Butler Field, adjacent to Chicago’s spectacular new Millennium Park, April 28 – May 2, 2005. The international contemporary art fair, featuring some of the world’s most important fine art galleries and the work of more than 2,000 individual artists, will return to a state-of-the-art tent structure near the Lakefront where it began in 1993.

Exhibitors will range from established and respected galleries to some of the contemporary art world’s most promising rising stars. Featuring paintings, drawings, sculpture, mixed media, film, video and installations, Art Chicago expects to draw approximately 25,000 visitors during its 5-day run.

Thomas Blackman Associates also produces the San Francisco International Art Exposition January 14 - 17, 2005, and will provide art enthusiasts with a similar opportunity to view and select work from a comprehensive exposition of 20th century art.
