Hawaiian Big Wave Tow-in season

SurfersVillage report on the Hawaiian Big Wave Season Opener and their accompanying pictures show that they are right to have been impressed. Their own opener, a photo from www.surfingnz.co.nz, shows Doug Young riding a gigantic Jaws and must be seen to be believed.

The big swell that hit Hawaii on Wednesday December 15th was a true monster; reportedly one of the biggest in years. Jaws yielded some of the biggest surf, over 60-foot face waves, which saw three Wave Runner skis demolished on the rocks.
