Childrens' & Young Adults Exhibition
Over 400 Rhode Island public, private, and home-schooled students will be showcasing their artwork at Hera Gallery from February 5 -March 5, 2005.
The Children's Show is an annual feast for the eyes. Floor to ceiling, the walls are covered in paintings, drawings, woodcuts, and photographs of Rhode Island's most talented and youngest artists. Not to mention all of the sculpture work that gets submitted.
Wakefield's Hera Gallery, Hera Educational Foundation invites Rhode Island teachers of all levels and schools, public or private, and independently schooled students to submit to this the Twenty-First Annual Children's & Eighteenth Annual Young Adult's Art Exhibition, February 5 -March 5, 2005.
All works by 9 - 12th graders are automatically entered into a juried competition consisting of 12 categories such as Best Drawing and Best Sculpture, with over 30 awards to selected artists.
