Chili and Snow Sculptures

Wisconsin celebrates winter today as Lake Geneva's Annual Winterfest and the US National Snow Sculpting Competition kicks off.

The popular annual winter celebration, running through Sunday, features a multitude of recreational activities, an abundance of food and great entertainment besides the Snow Sculpting Competition. Each year an estimated 30,000 people see the competition as fifteen teams compete from states throughout the country.

Adding to the fun, the Grand Geneva Resort and Spa plans to host its annual Winter Carnival the same weekend. There will be a torch-light ski parade, fireworks over the snow and a chili cook-off.
