Coos Art Museum

Located on the scenic Southern Oregon Coast, The Coos Art Museum has been a cultural institution of Oregon's Bay Area for more than 50 years.

Painters residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming are all invited by the gallery to submit up to three slides depicting paintings in one or more of the media: oil, acrylic, pastel, or watercolor, for the exhibition Expressions West 2005, which will run from May 20 through to July 13, 2005. Any and all themes of expression define the parameters of acceptable entries. Submission deadline: postmark of Saturday, March 19th, 2005.

They also extend an invitation to maritime artists to participate in their 12th Annual Maritime Art Exhibit, scheduled for July 22 through September 24, 2005. Submission deadline: postmarked by Saturday, April 16th, 2005 and also encourage participation in the Plein Air/Wet Paint outdoor painting event that will take place all around the Coos Bay area Wednesday, July 20th through Saturday, July 23rd, 2005.
