Thunder In The Rockies

Northern Colorado is preparing for a Sturgis-like motorcycle rally Thunder in the Rockies, September 1-4, 2005. Thousands of bikers are expected to rumble into the Rockies for the event, which is one of ten H.O.G. Pin Stops in 2005. The H.O.G. Pin Stop offers members the opportunity to meet fellow members from all over the United States, and maybe even from around the world. Other pin stops include Laughlin River Run, Myrtle Beach Bike Week, New York Americade and Daytona Beach Biketoberfest.

Thunder in the Rockies, will offer free admission to the public and include the Harley-Davidson factory demo fleet, a bike show, vendors, live music, stunt shows, exhibitions, charity fundraisers, and four days of non-stop entertainment. Combining the classic elements of a motorcycle rally with the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains; the event will also include daily rides and poker runs showcasing Colorado’s most scenic routes and historic locations.
