Detroit Institute of Arts

The Detroit Institute of Arts is the only U.S. venue for a truly stunning exhibition that brings the work of two great sculptors together,Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin, for the first time in America.

Fateful Encounter features over 130 masterworks by these artistic geniuses and also emphasizes the fascinating personal and artistic relationships between them, through more than 50 related letters and photographs.

The exhibition runs through to February 5, 2006.
