MoMA

Edward R. Broida, a Los Angeles real estate developer and art collector, has donated an outstanding collection of 174 works of contemporary art to the The Museum of Modern Art in New York. His gift includes paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints by the artists Philip Guston, Vija Celmins and Christopher Wilmarth.

Soon to appear at MoMA, Edvard Munch: The Modern Life of the Soul, February 19 through May 8, 2006, will be the first major retrospective devoted to the work of the internationally renowned Norwegian painter, printmaker, and draftsman to be held in an American museum since the 70's.
