Summer Mayhem

The famed Kite Beach on the beautiful northern coast of the Dominican Republic now boasts a hotel which has been designed to meet the requirements of boarders from the ground up. Quite literally because besides the 20 rooms which open directly onto Kite Beach, eXtreme Cabarete features a subterranean skateboard facility!

Catering to every need of the extreme sports enthusiast, the hotel provides free beach wireless access to the internet. Some members of the Activity Vacations Guide team are already lobbying to relocate the office. You can watch others enjoying themselves on a set of webcams, including one looking out over Kite Beach.

This summer sees eXtreme Cabarete playing host to the 'eXtreme Summer Mayhem Games' which will feature top ranked athletes competing across sports for prize money in surfing, skateboarding, kiteboarding and tow-in aerial surfing. The winner, who demonstrates mastery of all three disciplines will be crowned the eXtreme King or Queen of Mayhem.
